Hey, my name is Helen Rhoads and I am “Georgia Genealogy Gerl”.  I started doing genealogy more in depth in about 2010.  I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, but my parents were both pretty much born and raised in south Georgia.  I currently live here in Atlanta, so I’ve been making use of the public library access to Ancestry.com (and my own subscription some, too) as well as the State Archives over in Morrow.
